Applicant ScreeningThe following questions are related to the minimum requirements to participate in the apprenticeship program. Please check each box to certify you meet the requirement. I am at least 18 years of age. I have a high school diploma or equivalent. I have reliable transportation. I have access to a computer with internet for the purposes of online coursework. To the best of my knowledge, I am capable of the physical demands of this role: Walking or standing for up to 10 hours per day; stoop, crouch, kneel or crawl up to 30 minutes at a time; intermittently climb stairs or ladders; intermittently lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs; reach overhead or at shoulder level. I agree to abide by the substance abuse prevention program of my employer and/or the project site(s) I may be assigned to. Lawful substance abuse screening, including testing for illicit drugs or alcohol, may be conducted prior to employment, project assignment, at random, for reasonable suspicion of impairment, or following an incident. I am willing to take the NOCTI 21st Century Skills for Workplace Readiness Exam. I understand that in the event of limited placement, applicants will be offered prioritized enrollment based on their score on the exam. I have read and understand all of the provisions of the apprenticeship program as described on the Apprenticeship page, and I am prepared to commit 2 1/3 to 3 years to the program, including 4,500-6,000 hours of supervised on-the-job learning, demonstrating the required competencies, and completing 542 hours of related instruction.
